Warwickshire County Council’s message a school nurse is now available!

Chat Health for Parent & Carers
If you are a parent or carer of a school aged child, you can text a school nurse on 07520 619 376 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). You can message outside of these times, but you will get a reply during opening hours. All chats are confidential. You can message for advice on all kinds of health issues, including:

  • General Health
  • Child Development
  • Behaviour
  • Emotional Health and Welbeing

Chat Health for Young People
If you are 11-19 years old you can text a school nurse on 07507 331 525 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). You can message outside of these times, but you will get a reply during opening hours. All chats are confidential. You can message for advice on all kinds of health issue, including;

  • Sexual Health
  • Emotional Health
  • Bullying
  • Healthy Eating

Important Information from Warwickshire County Council
1) Messages are charged at your usual rates
2) We do not usually inform your parents, teachers or anyone else if you contact the school nurse. We might inform someone if we were concerned about your safety, but we would usually speak to you first.
3) Your messages are stored and can be seen by other healthcare staff who follow the same confidentiality rules.
4) We aim to reply to you within one working day and you should get an immediate bounce-back to confirm we’ve received your text.
5) Texts will not be seen outside of normal working hours
6) If you need help before you hear back from us, contact a member of school staff or your doctor
7) Our text number does not receive voice calls or MMS picture messages.
8) Prevent the school nurse from sending messages to you by texting STOP to our number
9) Please respect your school’s mobile phone policy.
