Finance

The rating authority is Warwick District Council who collects rates on behalf of the County Council and Town Councils. The Town Council rate is charged to the residents of the Town only and is usually a very small percentage of the total.

The precept levied by Warwick Town Council since 2013 are:

  • 2013 – £27.27 per household
  • 2014 – £27.82 per household
  • 2015 – £28.35 per household
  • 2016 – £28.92 per household
  • 2017 – £30.36 per household
  • 2018 – £32.18 per household

For the financial year 2018/2019 this has raised a total sum of £394,000 and expenditure is divided as follows:

  • Planning & Economic Development £55,000
  • Recreation & Tourism £130,000
  • Community £125,000
  • Other £84,000
  • Total £394,000
