Warwickshire County Council made a Temporary Traffic Order closing Priory Road, Warwick from The Butts to St Johns, to vehicular traffic.
The closure was required to safely facilitate works for the construction of a new footway/cycleway and for the building of traffic calming measures.
The Order commenced on 5 January 2018 for a period of 18 months, or until the works were completed, whichever was the earlier. In the itial phase of works the traffic calming measures were not completed however, works have now been scheduled to complete the traffic calming works and make necessary adjustments. The work will be carried out on Sunday 24 June 2018
Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
An alternative route will be signed and is available via: The Butts, Smith Street
