Warwick District Council have confirmed:
‘The Skate Park at St Nicholas Park will be removed over the next week. We have tried to hold off removing the equipment as long as possible but with the Sea Scouts HQ build due to start on Monday 11th November, the site needs to be clear for this date and there is still removal work to be carried out.
Some of the equipment can be re-used and we intend to put this down at Newbold Comyn in the near future. In conjunction with a local skate group we are aiming to have a new concrete skate facility in the park in the New Year 2020. We are working with a local skate group who are looking at getting grants for a much improved skate park on the site, this will go next to the existing site and be developed with installing a new BMX / Cycle Cross track’
